It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kenrick R. Whyttle-Davis, a former first-class umpire and the father of Roger Davis, Vice President of Area 3 of WICUA, on August 4, 2026. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Roger and his family during this difficult time. May his soul rest in peace.

The Antigua & Barbuda Cricket Umpires' Association, sponsored by the West Indies Cricket Umpires' Association (WICUA), conducted umpiring training at the Coolidge Cricket Ground during the Under-19 tournament in Antigua. This initiative is part of WICUA's training plan, which aims to be implemented in each territory.

PRESIDENT of the West Indies Cricket Umpires Association, Vivian Johnson has said that the foremost major plan of the regional body is to increase training opportunities in the territories by planning and delivering training seminars, utilising the association’s chairman along with senior umpires, other certified trainers, plus the utilization of former ICC Elite Umpire Joel Wilson to be a part of this venture.

According to Johnson, “we have made several changes to the way we operate as an executive and have basically revolutionised some of the operations to bring it into the 21st century business operation approach.
